Copenhagen Metro

    Newer Older

I spent a whole lot of money this week buying a Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi) dSLR camera and two good lenses for it. One of the lenses is a Canon EF-S 10-22mm wideangle zoom (equivalent to 16-35mm on a 35mm camera). That's a fun lens...

Agent Angelo, Arria Belli, FiggeP, and 45 other people added this photo to their favorites.

No problem. You deserve it, it's a lovely shot. It's especially hard to take photographs in metros as the light isn't always great.

The Copenhagen metro looks really clean, by the way: is it always like this?

Maybe not after Friday and Saturday night, but besides that they keep it pretty clean most of the time.

I like it very much. The symmetry is excellent. Besides, in the underground there's always people passing by, the light isn't great... So it's not easy to get a clean photo like this one, I think (I see no special issues with noise). All in all, great pic imho, and a great example of why to choose a 10mm over a 12mm!

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Amager (Copenhagen, Denmark), and we'd love to have this added to the group!

      Hej, Stig

10-22 er et rigtig godt køb, som du sikkert har været glad for lige siden... Sjove muligheder og en billedkvalitet, som dybest set berettiger til et lille, rødt "L".

In November 2009 I started trying to leave a note on each image I uploaded to the wikimedia commons. I do this because I really am grateful. And the note helps prevent me from trying to upload twice an image I already uploaded before.

Some flick uploaders ask me why I didn't ask for their explicit permission prior to the upload. If I uploaded an image you didn't want uploaded please see my explanation on my flickr profile.

I uploaded this image here -- Stations of Moscow Metro

Let me repeat my thanks. Thanks!

That's my favorite escalator shot of yours. That's darn well near perfect. Great tones and exquisite symmetry. Very inspiring work.

Found your shot via wikipedia and found I'd taken one very similar two years later.

Very nice, I like the use of symmetry and repetition.
