Fluffed Pheasant

This Himalayan Monal Pheasant female at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, New York is all fluffed up against the cold of mid-March. Notice she is only using one leg to stand. Keeping the other one close to her body to cut heat loss.
