The laptop that caused all of our office tower to be evacuated. A Dell -- someone's personal machine? -- but they are Sony batteries.

Still using my Dell Latitude D800, but I changed the battery with the recall program. Just imagine this incident in an airplane....

I agree I've seen pictures of the real thing and there was a hole all the way through it by the way the thing apout the smoke is true but not completly while the smoke would have risen the smell would get distributed throughout the ventelation sistem and pumped throughout the buildiing. I think it look's like a fake but I don't absolutely think it's a fake. please clear the air and tell us all how the batteries got on the outside and tell if it is a fake or not. In any event great shot, fake or real.

What would you do, if you've searched for a by photo to use for a commercial website for selling laptops, and the first photo you see was this?!
No! Just let me know, what should you do then?!
Even in a normal a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/laptop/interesting/"">tag search, this is the first!

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called SML Fine Art = 大中小藝 = SML ファインアート, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

OMG this is awesome! Did you make it though? I know that it's fake but investing a computer into the making of a prank is highly admirable :)

      Cheers,
      See-ming
