paper crane drops
Eshu is doing a wonderful project where she mailed out 1000 paper cranes that she folded herself, and is having people photograph them. Looking for a unique angle, I decided to try to capture the refraction of my red paper crane in waterdrops. (shocked?) ;> I used a golf tee with double side tape to hold the paper crane up in the air, positioned just behind the water drops. (The red bokeh is also the crane) Because refractions come out upside down, I flipped the photo and decided I liked the effect. The different angles of the refractions in the drops - from low to high - almost make it look like the paper crane is taking off. View large!
