Guardian of Forever

The deadline to sign up for the June 20-22, 2014 Alabama Hills workshop looms... So if this is your cup of tea, drop in soon.

The galaxy isn't "forever" old, but measured against my lifetime it's pretty doggone close. The rising 1/2 full moon blued the skies, cast some light on the object, and made navigating around these precarious rocks a bit easier. The rim light in the arch is from my LCD light bank which took a tumble when I did. I think it will stil work, as will I! However some of the batteries in the device went spilling into irretrievable crevices in this location, unfortunately. If in the future hordes of huge worm-like creatures emerge and begin consuming people and whole towns it might be my fault. Or maybe I'm just thinking of the movie Tremors which was partially filmed out here.
