Second Light [B_038821]
First light to astronomers means "the first time the telescope saw anything". Because the sky was extremely uncooperative, my first light is the moon and a shot through thick clouds which thinned now and then briefly. This was from last night when it was much clearer.
With 600 mm focal length on a crop camera, this is a cropped image (see here for how it looks full frame).
7 PM PDT on Tueday, October 18 will mark another milestone for me... launching my first Webinar. This one is Astrophotography 101 - Getting Started Without Getting Soaked. You can see other courses here, and the course catalog
PS This image is displayed "oddly". Can anyone spot what the problem is?
