Edge of Town Milky Way

Sadly 80% of all North Americans cannot see the Milky Way where they live due to light pollution. While that's true for me also, a 65 mile drive can take me to a place where you CAN see the Milky Way quite clearly. This image is a two photo vertorama taken at 2:00 AM with no artificial light sources.

 

That thing that looks like it might be the crescent moon is actually a lighted wind turbine.

 

I've also been working on a "Stacked Aligned" image. In many ways I like this one better... you'll see why when I post the next image.
