Skyline Milky Way - for tricia
I dedicate this universe to my wife, tricia with whom I am "So In Love" for more than two decades.
63 Photos, all: 2000 ISO, f/4, 30 seconds, 17mm focal length (27mm effective). In camera high-ISO noise reduction on standard, custom white balance.
Taken July 26: 11:15 pm to July 27: 12:29 am from a vista along Skyline Blvd (35) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Some things to note: You can see cars passing by from time to time. Usually going North to South (right to left). Also interesting to note is the occasional aircraft, and most interesting, are the little pools of light in the lower right. Since a low fog blanketed those areas, any lights around were diffused. If you watch closely, the one at the horizon moves and changes brightness, presumably as cars whizz by.
Note: This shoot used an external battery rig with my Canon 50D. I scouted this location last week (see the scouting report). More on the rig later.
