A stack of 96 thirty second exposures (48 minutes in total) taken along the Zion Scenic Drive beginning at 4:10 am. I accidentally introduced a 3 second delay between each shot which resulted in a noticeable little gap in each segment of the star trail.
This was my first time to shoot with a new 50mm f/1.4 lens. It suffers from some focusing problems, too.
The formation is one "shoulder" of one of the Twin Brothers in Zion National Park.
Each photo is f/2, 30s ISO 250. Processed with startrails.de and darkened considerably.
The "dotted lines" are more interesting in the large size
