Nice tuitorial. You did a great job on that image. There is a whole lot of bad and/or overdone HDR out there. This one is good.

I wish everyone would use this tool as tastefully as you have here. The HDR is the most abused of all of the effects in Photoshop.

Thanks. The far out effects seen in most HDR are produced through manipulation of the curve under Local Adaptation. I prefered the effect given with just the Exposure/Gamma setting.

      Hi,
After I saw your article I decided to try to do one HDR but I have some problems with the curves adjustment in the 32 to 16 bits conversion. It is a little bit difficult to do the right adjustment. I just started yesterday, but I don’t want to do stupid things as some that I had seen around flickr. Can you help me with that?

Hi, I'm the admin for a new group called Tutorial by Picture, and I'd love to have your picture added to the group?

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Layman's Photography, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.

Just searching through the Flikr-space and came across this. Although quite new, The Layman's Guide to Photography is expanding quickly and might proove to be a useful place to start when trying new technique.

We also have a group - Layman's Photography - the photographers there have been invited due to their selfless and incredable ability to explain how they got their shots.

Again its new but visit all the same!

Neither Photoshop (in auto merge) or Photomatix give results that I like... I prefer to manually merge using layers in PS.
