Cluster of White Lipped Banded Snails (Cepaea hortensis) on a Grave Stone.

Photo taken in the churchyard of All Saints Church, Darfield, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Note the variation in markings from the heavily banded snail in the foreground to the individuals with no banding at all.

These snails are around 2cm in width.
