books read in 2009
These are most of the books I read in 2009 (not pictured: All The Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy, Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, and Inventory by The A.V. Club). In total, I read 19 books.
As one of my goals for 2010 I plan to read (at least) 26 books, or approximately one every two weeks. Working at a bookstore, the books just keep accumulating faster than I can read them, so I need to make a point of reading more. I don't plan on taking two weeks to finish each book, but it's a rough schedule to keep me on track.
Some books that I just haven't gotten around to reading yet that I'd like to read are:
-Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
-Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
-The Crossing by Cormac McCarthy
-Cities of the Plain by Cormac McCarthy (I bought the Border Trilogy omnibus last year)
-Moby-Dick by Herman Melville
-Paradise Lost by John Milton
-On The Road by Jack Kerouac
and many more hopefully....
