I can make cheese
I learned how to make goat milk into goat cheese. It was awesome and fascinating how easy it really is! I really want to continue my education in cheese. Paola's farm was a good starting point. I don't think the facilities there really lend itself to good cheese making. Until I talked with some neighbors about making cheese, nothing was ever really cleaned before making cheese. The cheese pot, moulds, utensils, etc. were only scrubbed with cold water when everything needs to be sterilized with boiling water, ideally. I'm not sure if it really matters or not. The cheese cabinet was probably the worst link in the chain, and a wwoofer that arrive the week I was leaving took over the cheese process and rehabilitated the cabinet to make it more fly-proof. Before that, I stopped eating the cheese because the warm weather and the maggots in the cheese turned me off. Some people still ate it, and gave me appreciated "mmm, this is good" remarks, so it wasn't all bad.
