Old Jewish cemetery since 1714. After 1914 not many people were buried here. After 1942 the cemetery was abandoned. This was the first time the cemetery was opened for the public. The stones that are photographed here are from around 1880, or 5644 Jewish calendar. There used to be 200.000 graves here. It was the biggest Jewish cemetery in Europe.
