2022 March For Our Lives 19
Washington DC, Saturday June 11, 2022. Thousands rallied here today on the National Mall near the Washington Monument for the second March For Our Lives to protest the the ongoing mass shootings that have become a sad fact of life in our Country for decades. There were similar rallies all across the USA. Corrupt Republican Senators have continued to stand in the way of meaningful gun control such as banning assault rifles and other weapons of war.
This photo shows March For Our Lives activists surrounding a "Guns & Bacon" counterprotester. Eventually they blocked his sign and he was escorted out of the event peacefully. Event security and Park Police did a fine job of letting this guy have his say for awhile and then removing him before trouble started.
