The Beresford, Glasgow

This is The Beresford Building in Glasgow. It was built in 1938 for the Empire Exhibition and has the honour of being Glasgow's first skyscraper as well as a superb Art Deco listed building. This is the re-instated colour scheme as it was when built. It was designed by the architect William Beresford Inglis who was also the original owner and manager of the hotel when opened.
