      That's one of those Pictish sheep. Highly dangerous and obviously capable of scaling stone walls with ease.

      Seriously though, nice photo, a fun take on this iconic thing. The wall I mean, not the sheep.

      This would indeed be a Pictish sheep -- except that the modern border is a dozen or so miles north of the wall at this point. (And the wall is itself is a Victorian reconstruction for tourists -- I think even fearless nimble Pictish sheep would have been defeated by the 5m high original.)

      I find there's something inherently amusing about a lone sheep staring at the camera, so I've uploaded another...
