Gorgeous! I have been wondering how the patterned floor and a subway tile look with a glassed in shower and now I know. Thanks for posting. What kind of trim did you use where the floor tile butts up against the wall. Did you match the floor or the subway tile?

The tile at the bottom has a bit if an upturned bottom to meet with the floor. Sort of the opposite of billboard. Not sure what the technical term is for it but many tile companies make it to coordinate with their wall tile.

I thought I commented on this, but now I don't see it. Sorry if this is a duplicate.

We are considering marble time for our bathroom remodel. Your bathroom is my inspiration. I've been reading a lot online about people who are not happy with their marble floors because of the maintenance and porous nature. I'm concerned about staining, scratching, and etching. I think you've had yours for several years now. How do you feel they are holding up? Are they difficult to clean? Did you use porcelain subway tile rather than marble in the shower because of any of these issues?

Ive really had no issues with the marble but in fairness I like how old marble looks so I wouldn't be too wrapped up into it looking pristine anyway. Five years in, it still looks like it did when we installed it for the most part.

I used ceramic subway tiles because they were a lot cheaper. I used marble in another bathroom without issue.
