St John the Baptist - Stanton

Revisiting a favourite haunt but this time during a full moon. Only problem with full moon scenes is that they end up looking like day time and lose that ethereal quality you can obtain with new moon long exposures.

 

45 exposures each 120secs @ f4, ISO400, 14mm. NEF RAW files first converted using Nikon Capture NX, the merging executed using a batch action in Adobe Photoshop to successively load an image from the series and lighten blend with the previous (starting with an initial black frame). Final output using Adobe Lightroom. Nikon Capture NX was used for the first stage as Adobe Lightroom/Camera Raw 6.2RC was generating stray hot pixels.
