Welcome Home for returning World War I soldier, Fred Tippett, 1919 ; the two lads in the front, Norm and Jack Maloney, went on to fight in World War II and were Prisoners of War in Changi. They survived - Lewisham, Sydney, NSW

Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the start of World War II, when Nazi Germany invaded Poland, September 1939. It is ironic that the Japanese, allies in the First World War of the British Empire, are represented in the bunting, yet by World War II, only a little over twenty years later, they had imprisoned the Maloney brothers in a terrible concentration camp.
