South Australia and the Northern Territory through Frank Hurley's lens
Intrepid photographer Captain Frank Hurley was engaged by the South Australian Government in 1935 to document that state on the eve of it's centenary year. His photographs appeared in publications related to the centenary year.

These photographs are now included within GRG35/342 Glass plate and other negatives - Photolithographic Branch, Department of Lands. This series includes over 12,000 negatives covering many aspects of life and Government in South Australia from 1891 to 1957.
