famous 19th century photographer robert bonnin issues intellectual property complaint against flickr user

I don't know who this person is. I can't reply to their message because they have be blocked (!) on flickr. I assume I must have reposted one of his images somewhere without attribution.

Now I see. I reposted (with attribution) a photo Robert scanned in from a collection of 19th century and early 20th century negatives. Apparently, I have infringed on his appropriation of the public domain.
