Best bowling alley ever
Went here with the parents for a round after dinner. Not a single car in the parking lot, a row of unplugged old video games, more video games and prize/claw machines that were plugged in blinking and making noise to nobody, and 40 -count em-40 empty lanes!
Ten-odd ping pong tables, ten more billiards tables, air hockey, banquette couches and vintage ashtrays, old Coke machine that dispensed bottles, late 60's early 70's decor starting to get shabby.
We were the only ones there. Awesome. It did kind of feel like what I imagine a state-run bowling alley in North Korea would look/feel like, though, given the eerie emptiness of the place. According to Masa's dad, you had to wait two hours to get a lane back in the day. He should know. Him and the wife met in a bowling alley! :)
