Minolta 110 Zoom Mark II

Found at the Yarnton Garden Centre's Antiques section today :-)

The camera looks to be in good condition, but I need to find the right batteries in order to confirm that it still functions; the flash works, which is a positive sign. There is a Kodacolor 400 film inside with 5 pictures taken (or left), so there could be a surprise in store there too.

The camera was released in 1979, a few years after the idiosyncratic Mark I, and the earlier camera's odd looks were replaced by a more conventional SLR 'bridge camera' style format.

The lens is a highly rated 25-67 constant f/3.5 Rokkor-Macro, integrated to the camera body. Exposure is fully automatic and aperture priority.

The camera is surprisingly bulky - my NEX-7 has similar width but less depth; I'll post some comparison photos shortly.
