Peter Andre and Katie Price

The basis of these two canvases comes from the work of the artist's hero, American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, who made an iconic painting of a lady with a speech bubble saying, “I know how you must feel Brad”. In this present portrait Katie Price is the lady and Peter Andre represents Brad dressed in trilby and overcoat like the comic book character Dick Tracy. Katie's speech bubble therefore reads “I know how b(r)ad you must feel Pete” representing their much publicised problems. In the background the artist has used Lichtenstein's painting of Apollo's Temple which seemed appropriate, Apollo being the god of music, drama and poetry.

Original on canvas - Each individual portrait is 122cm x 91cm ( 4ft x 3ft ) and created from 4500 used postage stamps.
