Tottenham Palace 1307

Tottenham Palace Theatre, London. For a variety theatre, the Palace has a deep stage. In 1969 the upper part of the proscenium was partitioned off to allow the bingo screens to be installed. There are currently plans by the church, who currently operate the building, to remove the partition and open the stage space again (though not to re-equip the stage tower). The architects, Wylson & Long, seem to have had an American influence in the wide and high ante-proscenium.
