Sunderland Regal 8183

The Black's Regal opened in 1932 and was designed by Messrs Gray & Evans. The "dancing ladies" on the splay walls were a notable feature in the lavishly decorated 2,522 seat luxury theatre. The Regal later became an Odeon, following this the building was converted to a Top Rank Bingo Club and is now owned by Mecca Bingo.
