89 Hanley Theatre Royal 31
Digitally scanned negative of the Theatre Royal Hanley. Reopening in 1951, it was badly hit by emerging TV ownership and went over to bingo in 1961. A surprise return to a theatre occurred in 1981 but final closure came in 2000. It is probably best known for it's own highly successful tour of The Rocky Horror Show, which played several times here and toured internationally. The circle has now been ripped out, the stage destroyed and the theatres functions as bars and a nightclub.
