Day 264 - "The sun does not shine for a few trees and flowers, but for the wide world's joy." - Henry Ward Beecher

This is my first sun photo taken directly through a telescope using a camera mount. There is a small amount of eyepiece distortion on the far right of the image, but this is still a pretty good first effort. It's good to have some clear daytime skies again. Here are the specs on the equipment I used:

Orion SpaceProbe 130ST Equatorial Reflector Telescope with Equatorial Mount

Optical diameter - 130mm

Focal Length - 650mm

Focal Ratio - f/5.0

6.58" ID Orion Full Aperture Solar Filter

25mm Plossl Eyepiece (26x magnification)

Sony A77 attached to scope with Orion Variable Universal Camera Adapter
