Centennial Rocket

I recently noticed that the Centennial Rocket was removed due to Canada Line construction. Not sure whether this sculpture will be returned to it's original spot.

The "Centennial Rocket" is a replica of a 1936 "rocket" which stood for years as a symbol of aviation at the first Vancouver Air Terminal. Located at the southern end of the Cambie Street Bridge. Artist: Lew Parry.
