Located near Page, Arizona, the Navajo Generating Station is a coal-fired power plant consisting of three 750 MWe units. The 236 meter tall chimneys are some of the tallest structures in the state of Arizona. When all three units are fully running, the plant consumes up to 25,000 tons of coal per day (www.sourcewatch.org).
