Newton eMate Prototype

Apple often created clear case prototypes for its hardware, specifically to check for flaws in the plastic molding process. This particularly lovely example is a fully functional Newton eMate 300 prototype.


I recently obtained this device, along with a handful of other goodies, from Maurice Sharp … the infamous Dr Llama who was part of the Apple DTS (Developer Technical Support) department.
