[I think I was subconsciously inspired by these two shots (one & two) by Brian, but I didn't realize it until I was editing.]

Hitting the "L" key makes this much better, in my opinion.

Whew. Now that the meet up is over, I can really breathe and look back at all the amazing things that happened to me. It was sort of overwhelming with everyone here, and I don't think I could fully comprehend the magnitude of this event until I had some time to myself.

I feel completely, 1,000% reinvigorated and refreshed; I feel blissfully happy knowing that I have made SO MANY good friends from all over the WORLD! It's just astounding to feel that kind of love and kindness so quickly from so many people that you have never met in person. I hugged everyone (that's right...I hugged people) as soon as they made it out of their cars or out of the airport. It was just an instant outpouring of love when I saw all of these people who I respected and admired so much; these people had already moved me with their work, and it was only a matter of time before they moved me with their kind hearts and beautiful souls.

Flickr will always hold a special place in my heart, because it helped form a new sort of family for me. I believe that I have lifelong friends that I could turn to, no matter what, and I know I'm not the only one to feel that way.

I will never forget the crazy times and great memories from the last week, and I hope that these pictures help convey some of the greatness and amazing beauty that was captured.

Thanks so much for dealing with my rambling. =P

This is Kristian again, btw. She was the only Flickrite (outside of Josh-whom I went to high school with) that I had met in person. She was STILL a blast to hang out with, STILL ridiculously funny, and STILL a great model! =) But, this time, her hair was a beautiful shade of blue! =) I just laid her in my mom's flower garden among the zinnias and went to work on this shot. =P

Hope you enjoy all the photos that came from our meetup, you can see more of them in the Midwest Flickr Gathering Group.
