    This morning i headed up to ilkley moor with ewan, and had to very quickly abandon it due to the rain closing in and getting a thorough soaking.

    Rather typically for the british weather, after a couple of hours it became a beautiful sunny day... so feeling a little restless we decided to catch the train back there again in time for sunset :-)

    I really must look after my filters better - this was taken with an ND8 Gradient filter to compensate for the bright sky, but it's a little dusty and scratched, so i've just removed a shocking amount of lens flaring in photoshop :-(

    bigger = better

      The grad works great. One of those purchases I keep putting off (why!?).

      I'm going to have to get up to the moors, it's not that far from me, maybe this photo set will inspire me to get out more!

      BTW after looking at your images, I popped over to 7 days interesting which this image is now part of!
