Located at the end of a long, windy and dusty road is Totaranui, near the northern end of Abel Tasman National Park, NZ. The only facilities here are those associated with the campsite run by the Department of Conservation - basically toilets and that's it. Still, it's a very popular place for families and the like during the summer months. This photo was taken in mid-March, when the crowds have disappeared but the weather is still fantastic and the water remains superb for swimming.
BTW, there is no colour treatment here...the beach really is that colour.
