A #Yorkshire Pudding –
To which I added cooked smoked ground pork, thus, making it a "Porkshire" pudding.😂
The beef rib roast hadn't yet cooked, and I didn't want to wait any longer, so I became creative and cooked some pork.
These things are amazingly simple to cook!
2 cups AP (All Purpose) flour
2 cups WHOLE milk (you can add cream to 2%, or skim)
1/4 cup fat/oil/grease/beef drippings, etc.
1 T salt (T=Tablespoon, t=teaspoon)
Combine it ALL VERY WELL (a blender, or mixer, works wonders) and buzzify it until it's the consistency of pancake batter.
Pour it ALL into A HOT SKILLET (pulled from the already 400ºF oven which has been lubed w oil/fat/grease, etc., to prevent sticking), and put that baby back in there for about a half hour to 40 minutes +/-... and BAMMO!
That thing'll rise UP!
And you know what?
'Tis quite good!
