Becky was kind enough to invite a few members of Exposure.Detroit to a private tour of Detroit's Masonic Temple. By a few I mean forty members all carrying tripods and tons of equipment, it was a sight. It wasnt the easiest to get the shots you wanted but it was a great experience and we had a fantastic guide who knew all the history of the building and the masons. Id love to go back again and shoot this amazing place.

This is a photo of the main theater in the building which is one of three theaters in the structure. This is one of the few shots where I didnt snag anyone else in the frame haha.

i took a tour of the temple once as well, saw the unfinished swimming pool on one of the top floors and a numbers of lodges. This structure has over a thousand rooms and its own power station that could supply even a small city with electricity. Interesting place beyond any doubt. Unfortunately, at the time of the tour, I was not having even a decent camera, but I remember standing at the same spot where you took this shot and it was a blast. Just seeing the dimensions of the stage was an impressive experience. Our guide (32nd degree mason) told us that they managed to have a helo there for a show some time ago. Very nice shot with an impressive wide angle.
