Salem Beats Hidden Valley Oct. 28 2011
In rainy and cold weather, the Salem defense held Hidden Valley to about 200 yards of offense and a field goal to beat the Titans 10-3 at home, Oct. 28.

The Spartans' Drew Lyle kicked a 23-yard first quarter field goal and Marty Bishop plunged into the end zone on a 1-yard run to seal the victory.

Salem moves to 6-3 on the year while Hidden Valley falls to a 5-4 record.

The Spartans amassed 258 yards running, but only 28 through the air in the River Ridge District win.
