RVAA (Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association) Swim Meet, Salem YMCA
'Eat my bubbles!' seems to be the popular theme this year at the RVAA Swim Championships.

The Salem YMCA is hosting the annual RVAA (Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association) swim meet for the first time this year.

The meet is a two day long event beginning on Friday, July 25th and ending Saturday, July 26th. Approximately 1,122 swimmers are signed up for different heats over the course of two days.

Swim teams come from all over the Roanoke Valley to compete. Some local teams include; Stonegate from Salem, Ashley Plantation, Limestone Park and Read Mountain from Botetourt County, Hunting Hills, Hidden Valley, Castle Rock, Forest Hills, Olympic Park, Our Lady of Nazareth and Spring Run from Southwest Roanoke County.
