      This is the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec across the Ottawa River from the nation's Capital city, Ottawa, Ontario. I watched the construction of these buildings from start to finish as I worked at Scott Paper Ltd, the adjacent property to the west.

      Douglas Cardinal is the architect who designed this museum. He was also the principal architect at the beginning of the National Museum of American Indians project, but was fired midway. He claims they stole his design and did not give him due credit ....
