Why is this being protected in my fire safe?

From a late-60s, early-70s book of clip art. The books had a surprising number of the "guy with gun to head" in a variety of styles. Just what kinds of newspaper ads were these meant to illlustrate? "Prices so low, we're ending it all?!"

 

Spray-mounted to a piece of foam core and cut out. I used to have it on my desk at Supervalu (which is where the clip art books were from).
