      It didn't take long to make, and looking at the results it's clear that it works. This is the perfect season for it too, since the Christmas lights make the best custom bokeh.

      If you search for custom bokeh here on Flickr you'll soon find many uses that don't require Christmas lights. On the other hand, I agree that Christmas lights just makes it so much easier, and they usually occur in abundance this time of year.
