Experimental Ophelia is a set of modern crazy quilts frames in an antique copper look frame. These pieces of modern art look "antique" and "well-traveled" as if brought back from far away Bombay or Bangladesh, but have a decidedly modern and organic appeal. If you tend to like the items available at Cost Plus or Pier One Imports, you will like these quilts.

Each quilt is a blend of batik, hand dyed, and suede fabrics in shades of denim blue, teal, tan, cream, chocolate green and dark blue. The quilts are decorated with czech glass bronze rondelles that look like tiny drops of liquid, real flat fresh water pearls in a golden cream, dyed shell discs in denium blue and a real abalone disc.

Frames measure 7.25" x 14" high.
