Black Hawk change out

    Newer Older

Soldiers spot a UH-60 Black Hawk while it's loaded on to a C-5 Galaxy on 2 March 2011 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The Black Hawk upload was part of a change out. The old helicopters are being replaced by new airframes. The Soldiers are assigned to the 563rd Aviation Support Battalion out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Can I have one of the old ones? I promise I won't need any hellfires to go with it.

Spotting the Blackhawk? How hard could that be? It's right there, coming out of the front of the Galaxy!
