In Motion; Fuji X-Pro 1, Fujinon 60mm f/2.4

I've been shooting with the 60mm f/2.4 lens for a week and I am very pleased with the results.

The build is as good as the 35mm lens, and the hood is quite big. The filter thread is 39mm, similar to many Leica lenses'. I haven't bought any UV filters as I find using the hood just fine to protect the lens.

I've update the lens firmware to v1.02. I don't hear the chatter that I heard with the v.1.01. Focus speed is slightly slower than 35mm f1.4, but, not significantly so, IMO. Ever since I've learned that you can just press the shutter all the down to focus and take photo all at once, instead of doing the usual press shutter-half-way to focus technique, I've been getting more keepers.

Image quality-wise, it's comparable to the 35mm f/1.4, though in lab tests, I've read the 60mm is better. But, to me the IQ is about the same.

Macro-mode is so-so. It's very slow to focus. It's not 1:1. Olympus' new 12-50mm macro works better. Leica D-Lux series and Ricoh GRD macro is better. Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro is better.
