Fuji X-Pro 1 v. Olympus OM-D (2nd round)

Fuji X-Pro 1 v. Olympus OM-D

Full size jpegs, no PP

**No surprised to see that, even though both cameras were set to similar focal lengths and same aperture @ f/5.0, Fuji is able to better separate the foreground from the background due to bigger its sensor. More bokeh!

Take these comparisons with a grain of salt. I'm not a reviewer and comparisons aren't done "scientifically."

On the Fuji X-Pro 1 is the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 lens. Settings were Aperture Priority, JPEG mode set to Standard. All other settings are set to default.

On the OM-D E-M5 is the Oly stock 12-50mm lens. Settings were Aperture Priority, JPEG mode set to Natural. All other settings are set to default—such as in-camera noise reduction being ON.

Again, Fuji's dynamic range noticeably better than Olympus' in this situation.
