Kirin Tea Billboard, Beijing
This billboard provides an interesting example of the images used to sell to modern Chinese consumers in cities. Audrey Hepburn may seem an interesting choice to advertise green tea to the Chinese, but in a 2004 poll, she was chosen by the Chinese public as the best representation of natural beauty. Many other ads seen on the street in Chinese cities portray more Western-featured models, as well as celebrities from outside China.
