Michigan's first governor, Stevens T Mason was reburied today on his 199th birthday. Known as the "boy governor" for holding the seat when he was 24, Mason is having his fourth reburial.


With the renovations of Capital Park, Mason was moved to a more prominent spot in the park. A ceremony was held giving the history of Mason and Michigan during his life.
