Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl, Momofuku Noodle Bar, Toronto, ON
This famous noodle shop just opened for about a week in Toronto. My wife and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant does not open until 11.30am, but the line started at around 11am. By the time the door opened, there were more than 100 people waiting in line already. The service was fast and friendly (except I have to ask for the bill twice). Food was alright, but the soup base for the noodle was just lukewarm. We paid $45 for 1 bowl of noodle and 1 bowl of rice (see photo), plus two Shiitake buns. I thought it was expensive.
