If you saw the movie directed by Clint Eastwood, or read the book by Dennis Lehane... this is the spot where Tim Robbins character, Dave Boyle, gets it in the end. This bridge connects Chelsea to Boston over the Mystic River. Originally called the Mystic River Bridge, in 1967, it was renamed "Tobin Bridge" in honor of Maurice J. Tobin, former Boston mayor and Massachusetts governor.
